Here is our long anticipated update on our activities:
We are very proud to announce that with YOUR ARMY we have added a new rock band to our roster. YOUR ARMY is a band from Brighton (UK) whose album release “Ignite” made a real splash at the beginning of this year.
In addition the band earned success with various live shows, and after having supported SKUNK ANANSIE there will be more shows this year.
Also we could win no less than REPUBLICA. In the late 90ies REPUBLICA had highly ranked singles in the charts (e. g. “Ready to go”) and are now back with a new EP and its title track “Christiana Obey”. In March REPUBLICA played a remarkably successful tour in their home country England. Further shows in continental Europe are planned for October.

Berlin’s synth-boys DE/VISION are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year. Before going on tour in Germany this October their first 4 albums will be remastered and released on june 21st in a special box set added with extra tracks and rare flip sides.
MESH have just confirmed another apperance in Russia! On october 12th they are going to do an "Automation baby"- full set at Moscow Hall.

PLUSWELT festival X - 18.11.2012
PLUSWELT X - The 10th edition of PLUSWELT`s own festival has pioneering Bristol band MESH as the headline act. Mesh will be presenting a mix of classic tracks but also new songs from their forthcoming album “Automation baby” due for release in February 2013. Significantly the first single from the album called “Born to lie” will get its premiere at the show.
Berlin based synth-pop-duo DE/VISION released their latest album “Rockets & swords” in August 2012. “Rockets and Swords” spent several weeks in the German media control sales charts and the band return to PLUSWELT´s festival, re-energised from a successful tour which included a live drummer for the first time since 2007.
OBK are Spain`s no. 1-band. Since the early 90’s virtually every single released by OBK has reached the Top 5 of the Spanish national charts. Despite this success in their home country, the show in Krefeld is one of the first that has been performed in a non-spanish-speaking country.
Local Band MICROCLOCKS have had a lot of airplay rotation with their latest single “Is there anybody out there?”. And we look forward to a dynamic set from them.
Finally, multi-talented VIC ANSELMO from Latvia will be opening the event with an excellent piano-set.

Who could have imagined this?
Back in 2000 the two masterminds that formed the group, Andy LaPlegua (these days known for his other project COMBICHRIST as well as PANZER AG,SCANDY and others) and Sebastian Komor (KOMOR KOMMANDO, MELT, SQUAREHEAD) together with live member Christian Lund (NORTHBORNE) released the groundbreaking indie-dance EP “Former self”. They followed this up with their internationally acclaimed debut album “Serenity Is The Devil”. A run supporting fellow Norwegians (and friends) APOPTYGMA BERZERK on their “Welcome To Earth” tour followed and things continued along until the band split for no reason other than a shared desire to explore other musical paths. Last year the three members were invited to play a few shows in Australia and a never-lost comradery resurfaced and the desire to report back to European stages was born. Here are the dates:

German act DE/VISION (Metropolis Records) are true synthpop icons, having celebrated their 20 year anniversary in 2008, they continue to press forward as innovators and torchbearers for the electronic music movement. Their last 2 visits to the USA (in 2008 and in 2009) proved that their momentum is as strong as ever and with a new album "Popgefahr" released in March, 2010, they're ready to return to North America for the "Legends of Synthpop" tour.
IRIS
IRIS – originally from Texas – is the leading US modern synthpop act. After several albums (the last one “Wrath” in 2005 as well as a DVD-combined-EP called “Hydra” in 2008) Andrew Sega and Reagan Jones have just released their new album “Blacklight” on September 3rd (DIFFUSION RECORDS). They are ready to take "Blacklight" to the masses on the "Legends Of Synthpop" tour.

After releasing the limited edition single for Only Better in October of 2009, the band from Bristol (UK) followed it up with a European tour and a brand new album, A Perfect Solution. COMBICHRIST going nuts! After last night`s show in Nantes (France) also today`s concert in Paris is sold out. Furthermore no more tickets are available for the shows in Utrecht (NL) and Gothenburg (Sweden).

Fueled by expressions of lust, anger, pain and hate, Making Monsters is the sound of Combichrist mastermind Andy LaPlegua ripping out his heart and plugging its still-beating deathkicks into his music, rife with hook-heavy choruses, speaker-crushing beats, and dark aggressive vocals. The first single “Never Surrender” is bound to rule the dance floors along with other floor stompers “They” and “Throat Full of Glass”. The baretoothed aggression of “Follow the Trail of Blood” (featuring Brendan Schiepatti of Bleeding Through) will immediately become a crowd favorite while the brooding “Through These Eyes of Pain” takes a much subtler approach and shows us another side of Combichrist, that of the man inside the monster.

MORTIIS will return to the touring circuit this winter with a two-month, full European tour supporting evil-electro outfit COMBICHRIST.
"In some fundamental ways, COMBICHRIST and MORTIIS are very different, but in other fundamental ways, we are very much the same," explained vocalist and namesake MORTIIS. "At the end of the day, both bands have this 'f-you' attitude. It's expressed somewhat differently musically, but energy and attitude-wise we're carrying the same torch, so to speak. I think fans of both bands will pick up on that."
MORTIIS took a break from touring while preparing their latest releases, the soon-to-emerge next album, "the Great Deceiver" and "Perfectly Defect," a totally free digital download. Unveiled October 10, "Perfectly Defect" is full-length, downloadable album available at www.mortiis.com. "Perfectly Defect" is the quintessential prelude to the world of "The Great Deceiver" - while the latter is heavier and darker, the former is varied, experimental, and largely instrumental. The bottom line is that "Perfectly Defect" leads into "The Great Deceiver" acting as a crucial stage in the evolution of MORTIIS' music.

A warm welcome towards BLITZMASCHINE. The new electronic duo from Hamburg will from now be booked by PLUSWELT PROMOTION.
BLITZMASCHINE was established in 2009. First their relationship was simply about an absolutely secure financial investment in Nicaragua and the USA. It was quickly discovered that the two got on together in other ways and not just in monetary matters.
First of all there is a cover-single from no lesser electro-combo DAF (Deutsch-amerikanische Freundschaft) called "Liebe auf den ersten Blick" due to be released february 7th, 2011.
In addition an album was produced which reflected the sound preferences and influences of both musicians. From the use of classic EBM basslines and minimal vocals to complex song structures and musical arrangements BLITZMASCHINE shows on "Faustrecht" (the name of the debut album - street date: march 14th, 2011) what they understand about electronic body music.

New album, new single, new tour... Bristol's e-pop-icons MESH are back! It's been three years since MESH released their last studio album, the highly acclaimed "We Collide". Now, working with Dependent Records (Europe) and Metropolis Records (North America), the band is back with a new single, a new tour, and a new album: "A Perfect Solution". The limited edition single will be out in September, followed by the full length album in October. Finally, November will see the band embark on an extended tour of Europe and the UK. DE/VISION`s second trip to the US - 20.10.2008
After 20 years of bandhistory DE/VISION finally made it over to America in February 2008. Due to the success and demand the band will be going on double-headline-tour in North America one more time together with German act SEABOUND. Both are looking forward to play new places (such as Florida) while the final show of the last tour will be held in the same place as the kick-off for the upcoming one: Minneapolis on the 9th of January 2009.

MESH Live DVD "The World's A Big Place" scheduled for November 2007 - 11.10.2007
In January 2007, Mesh toured five German cities as headliners for the "elektrisch!" festivals. The gig at Kulturfabrik in Krefeld (near Dusseldorf) brought this extraordinary tour to a successful close and will now be released on DVD. Mesh swept along their audience with an energetic performance and an interesting setlist. Songs from the current album "We Collide" alternate with classics such as "People Like Me (With This Gun)". The changeful moods are underlined by video projections in the background, creating an impressive atmosphere, especially for contemplative tracks like "Room With A View". But a Mesh concert is always good for simply having a party, which is guaranteed by such powerful songs as "Step By Step" or "This Is What You Wanted". The new live DVD also features extensive bonus material, including backstage and studio footage. The faithful Mesh community has been waiting long for such a DVD that holds up the memories of a great evening – and those who never attended a Mesh concert are now able to catch up on what they have missed. The first 2000 DVDs will be released as a numbered limited edition, including the whole concert on 2 audio CDs. The price for this limited edition is 19,90 Euro (plus shipping). Currently the artwork gets its final polish, but the tracklisting is set already (see below). Preliminary release date is 23rd November 2007 but pre-orders mailed to svenja@majorrecords.de will be accepted.

After playing the Kulturfabrik twice in 1997 and 2004 DE/VISION are pleased to present their latest album „Subkutan” at the PLUSWELT Festival this spring at Krefeld Kulturfabrik. They do have the chance to play their full tour-set instead of a shorter festival version.
It is now 2 years ago when IRIS from Texas were supporting DE/VISION and impressed the audience with their melodic synth-pop in January 2004 and especially at the third PLUSWELT-festival in Krefeld They are going to present their latest album “Wrath” which reached top chart positions in Germany. In May 2005 IRIS went on their own tour for the first time but did not play in the western part of Germany. One more reason to invite the guys to Krefeld again. This time they will be co-headlining the festival.
Since 1997 every two years BEBORN BETON. are guests in the Kulturfabrik. The band - founded in Essen in 1989 - will present a nice goody at their first show in 2006. For the first time in this century they introduce brand new songs which haven’t been released, yet. You will find them on their next album which will be released late summer 2006.
MINERVE an ambitious synth-pop-band, will be opening the festival. Especially in Poland the duo has been very successful in the charts and also on TV!
